I’m taking my family to Walt Disney World for the first time in a few weeks and my daughter is BEYOND excited. We have started our official countdown to our Disney trip so of course I had to design a cute printable calendar for them.
At the bottom you can download this free printable Disney countdown calendar for your little ones too! I made a boy and girl version that come in sizes 8.5 x 11 and 8 x 10 for framing.
Since we are on the east coast, Disney World is our park of choice, but I couldn’t forget about the Disney Land goers! Therefore, I made versions for Disney Land as well!
The Perfect Age for the Parks
I have three kids ages 4.5, 3.5, and 10 months and I think they are at a great age for this magical trip! Although there really is no “perfect” age because every child is different, you know your children best.
If at any point your kids are in love with all things Disney or Pixar, and of course you have the money to spend, I’d say it’s a good time to go.
My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with all things princesses. My 3 year old son is starting to love all the Pixar movies and characters as well.
Obviously my 10 month old won’t remember this trip, but he is at a great age where he won’t be bugging me to get out of the stroller all day and isn’t a walking, talking toddler who can cause a disruption in our day. Ideally, the younger the better for babies since they may sleep more during the day and can tolerate being in the stroller for an entire afternoon.

The Disney World Countdown Calendar
Some parents choose to surprise their children with a trip to Disney World or Disney Land and I think that is a spectacular idea! Waking them up in the morning with their bags packed and their Disney clothing and accessories laid out for them is such a cute way to surprise your little one.
However, I’m terrible at keeping secrets so if I know something that my kids will be happy about, I just can’t keep it in. So we told our kids when we planned our Disney World trip and have been talking about it ever since.
Now that we’re less than a month out from our trip, I decided to make a visual countdown so my kids can understand how close it’s getting. At this age, they don’t have a real sense of time, so seeing the numbers get smaller and smaller will make them realize that it’s almost time for the most magical trip ever!
Download the free printable Disney World or Disney Land Countdown below and see how excited your son or daughter gets as they see their trip get closer and closer.

Just fill out the form with your name and email and you’ll get an email with a link to your downloads. There are versions for Disney World/Disney Land, Girl/Boy, and 8″x10″ or 8.5″x11″.
Choose the 8×10 if you’re going to put it in a frame. This way the whole image will fit. Using a frame is the best way because then you can also use a dry erase marker to write in the number each day.
If you don’t have a frame to use, you can use a dry erase pocket as well. This way you don’t have to print a new one every day!
I hope you love this free printable Disney countdown and have so much fun on your magical trip of a lifetime!
