Pregnancy can be a challenging time for many soon to be moms. Your body is growing and changing, and while yes it is such a miracle sometimes it can be lonely.

I always like to look at movie reviews before diving into any movie. I love a good story line and character development.
I love when movies have plot twists, and of course make me laugh, cry or feel understood.

What it’s about:

What it’s about:
Aftershock is a documentary about the maternal health crisis among American women. African American women have a mortality rate of 3-4x compared to white women.
Why you will love it:
This documentary shows bereaved families fighting for justice after losing a precious life. I love that this documentary brings awareness to the growing mortality rate in pregnant mothers in America.
The death rate is something that can be prevented and needs to be talked about.
