Toddlers and preschoolers have more toys and gadgets than we know what to do with. Although, they would be happy playing in a cardboard box, we may tend to overdo it with all their extra clutter.
Even though our little ones can be fulfilled by raiding our Tupperware drawers, we still need a place for them to play. If you’re looking to create a new space in your home as your toddler’s playroom, I have gathered a bunch of chic playroom ideas for you below.

Designing a Chic and Modern Playroom for Your Toddler
You want your toddler’s playroom to be a calming space that both you and them feel comfortable in. Light, neutral colors and modern accents will help to make it a place that seems to complete your home, while also being a spot that your child loves to spend time in.
There are plenty of ways to decorate your child’s chic playroom so that it doesn’t look like Sesame Street threw up in it! Even if it’s merely a room to store their one-too-many toys, you can decorate it as a space that fits in with the theme of your home.
Now there are so many modern, wooden toys and playroom accessories that you can always find decor that works for you.
When I designed my toddler’s playroom, I looked to the internet for ideas, as well. I wanted a modern space that wasn’t too colorful because it was going to be a room you see when you first enter my house. I knew all of my daughter’s toys and accessories would add plenty of bright colors.
Similar to the photos below, I chose to use neutral colors for the walls, rug, and furniture and made separate areas of play spaces.

Chic Playroom Ideas for Redesigning Inspiration

I couldn’t find any bins with a large window for a photo, but it’s easy to DIY. Simply laminate a photo of the items and attach it with velcro to the outside of the bin for easy viewing.
